Gerald Regan Interim Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer Gerald Regan is the Interim Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Horizon Health Network (Horizon). He is responsible for the Financial Services provided to patients and staff and leads Horizon’s annual budget process. Gerald is also responsible for the financial internal controls of the organization and oversees Horizon’s Accounting; Accounts Receivable; Accounts Payable; Payroll; Budgeting; and Reporting functions. Gerald is a Certified Professional Accountant and has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick. He has been with Horizon since December 2005, beginning as Director of Finance at Horizon’s Miramichi Regional Hospital. LEADS certified, Gerald was involved in many process improvement changes within Financial Operations. Gerald has coordinated the development of new regional Finance policies and procedures to assist Horizon in the process and control of various financial functions within the organization. Prior to joining Horizon, Gerald worked in the private sector in the pulp and paper, construction, environmental and lumber mill industries in progressive accounting and controllership roles.
