GinaBeth Roberts-Bateman

Interim Vice President, Communications and Community Engagement

GinaBeth Roberts-Bateman is the Interim Vice President, Communications and Community Engagement for Horizon Health Network.

GinaBeth has been a member of Horizon’s Communications and Community Engagement team since January 2016, serving in various leadership roles.

She enjoys helping leaders, staff and physicians share their stories with colleagues and community members, as she believes storytelling fosters growth and self-confidence, and helps builds connections between facilities, departments, teams, and communities. She takes pride in supporting leaders and frontline staff within the organization strategically work and communicate through difficult and complex situations.

Prior to joining Horizon, she was a national award-winning newspaper reporter. GinaBeth has two Bachelor’s degrees (English, Saint Mary’s University; Journalism, University of King’s College) and a Master’s degree (English, Queen’s University).

She has completed various leadership courses, such as Government of New Brunswick’s Elevating Women in Leadership course; one-on-one leadership development coaching; Leading One Horizon; LEADS in a Caring Environment Leadership Capabilities Framework (LEADS); change management training; and public participation and facilitation training.

She is a long-time volunteer with a local school breakfast club and Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic.

Originally from Prince Edward Island, GinaBeth lives in Moncton and works from The Moncton Hospital.
