The implementation of formal process improvement methodologies will increase efficiencies, provide cost savings and increase the public’s satisfaction with services. Health Care Associated Infections We are committed to providing safe, quality patient care. Horizon Health Network has a comprehensive Infection Control Program which monitors infection rates on an ongoing basis. This information is used by our health professionals and planners to identify areas for improvement in order to reduce the incidence of infections in our organization. Horizon supports the Department of Health’s monthly reporting requirement for Clostridium difficile (C. difficile) and Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteremia. We believe that public reporting improves transparency and accountability, and supports our ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety.
