Child and Youth Physical Rehabilitation Teams In January of 2018, occupational therapists and physiotherapists providing rehabilitation services to children and youth were transitioned under the Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) model of care from the Extra Mural Program. These therapists help children and youth in the community who have physical and/or developmental challenges. This team strives to optimize participation in meaningful daily activities for these clients within a variety of natural environments, including homes, schools, daycares, and other community sites. This team works closely with many partners, such as families, schools, the Department of Social Development, pediatricians and primary care providers, the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation, IWK Health Centre, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and Easter Seals New Brunswick, to name a few.
