Srijain (he/him) was born in Kathmandu, Nepal and immigrated with his family  to Fredericton, New Brunswick in his early years. He achieved a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Brunswick and then a Master of Management of Applied Science (MMASc) specializing in Global Health Systems from Western University. After completing his Master’s, he worked as a Coordinator for New Brunswick Social Pediatrics onboarding non-profits to the Communities Acting on Research Evidence Database. Currently, Srijain is working as the CANTRAIN Mentorship Coordinator where he recruits and connects mentors for the 4 CANTRAIN streams. He also works within the CANTRAIN GPT Stream to support graduate and postdoctoral trainees across Canada and is member of Research Services at Horizon Health Network. Srijain is passionate about utilizing his experiences and skills to create a learner-centered and performance based training program to increase the clinical trials capacity within New Brunswick and nationally.
