Dermatology (Skin) Clinic

What is the Dermatology Clinic?

Specialists and staff at Horizon’s Dermatology Clinics treat skin (and nail-related) conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, precancerous and cancerous lesions. Many factors may impact your skin, such as sun exposure, hormonal status, genetics, etc.

How is this dermatology service performed?

Our skin specialists (dermatologists and surgeons) diagnose and treat several conditions, including rare and genetic disorders. They work closely with you to understand your needs and find the right treatment. Our specialists also offer resources that complement the treatment you receive from your family physician or primary health care provider.

How do I access this service?

If you are concerned about the condition of your skin or nails, please talk with your family physician or primary health care provider. You may then be referred to a Horizon Dermatology Clinic for surgeries and procedures.

How do I prepare for this service?

No preparation is required. You may wish to make a list of what you want to discuss with our specialists. Many patients find it helpful to write a list of their concerns since writing these concerns ensures they don’t forget anything.
