The Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Horizon’s hospitals provides inpatient services to individuals suffering from an acute episode of mental illness. The service generally includes assessment, stabilization, diagnosis, treatment and consultation.
Follow-up care is provided by Community Addiction and Mental Health Services.
