Women and Children’s Health Program at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Welcome to the Women and Children’s Health Program at Horizon’s Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. While some of this information is specific to parents, children and families in the central area of New Brunswick, much of it is relevant to those across the province. Our highly trained team provides a range of women’s services including prenatal to postpartum care both on an inpatient basis and through ambulatory clinics. Children’s services include newborn, pediatric inpatient care and outpatient clinic services. We also have the first midwifery demonstration site in New Brunswick in our area. Our care team consults the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, N.S., as required.
