Services are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of specialized health professionals, ensuring seamless care from pre-operative assessment through recovery. These teams deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions that improve survival, restore function, and enhance quality of life. The program supports a large spectrum of cardiac surgical procedures, including: Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) Valve Repair and Replacement Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) Repair and Reconstruction of Great Vessels Removal of Cardiac Tumors Repair of Congenital and Acquired Heart Defects Aortic aneurysm Repairs involving the great vessels arising in the chest. Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) Heart failure surgery with the implantation and Maintenance of short-term Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support for heart and/or lung support Over 900 cardiac surgical cases are performed each year.
