Brand Standards Horizon Health Network (Horizon) logos and templates should only be used for purposes, events and publications that officially relate to Horizon. No use is permitted other than that explicitly authorized, and no release is permitted to any other third party without the expressed, written permission of Horizon. The logo may not be used for the commercial profit of outside organizations or ventures. Such use could be fraudulent and may constitute grounds for prosecution. Examples of acceptable uses would be publications or events with corporate partners; publicity and publications of affiliated research centers; publications, banners, and memorabilia for Foundations, Auxiliaries or Alumnae. This online Standards Guide is for all those who represent Horizon including staff, outside agencies and business partners. These standards will ensure Horizon’s brand are consistent and clear. Colours Logo Incorrect Usage Fonts Other Applications Colours are defined by the print industry standard Pantone Matching System™. PMS colours are specified below. In cases where only one colour is available the Horizon logo should be printed either as PMS 072 Blue or 100% Black. The Horizon logo can be reversed from either a solid colour or photo. In such cases, it must always appear as solid white. Minimum Clearspace Always maintain the minimum clearance space around the logo as indicated. The base measurement of one unit equals the width of the letter “H” in the Horizon logo type. Minimum Size The minimum reproduction size for the horizontal logo is 1.75 inches wide with the descriptor and 1 inch wide without descriptor. Always follow the standards presented in these guidelines. The examples on this page illustrate some of the unacceptable uses of the Horizon brandmark. Do not alter colours. Do not distort. Do not alter layout. Do not use Master logo on colours that do not produce enough contrast. These standardized typefaces have been chosen for the Horizon brand identity. They are to be used in branded communications. Each of the fonts were selected for its visual compatibility with the Horizon logo and for its ability to convey a personality that is consistent with the brand. Only use the weights and styles shown on this page. Lato is a font that can be found on ‘Google Fonts’. Arial is a system font on your computer. Use Lato; but if Lato is not available, use Arial. When the Horizon logo is to be used in conjunction with any other logo (ie. a facility logo), the execution MUST be approved by the Horizon Health Network Communications Department. Event Collateral When creating event collateral for your department where the Horizon logo is to be used, the execution MUST be approved by the Horizon Health Network Communications Department.
