Update regarding upgrades to parking lots at The Moncton Hospital

MONCTON – Construction continues at Horizon’s The Moncton Hospital to upgrade the facility’s parking lots. Because of this construction, patients, clients, and their families are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of time for their appointments.

Upgrades will soon be completed to reconfigure the entrance of the main visitors’ parking lot. As of tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 10, at 6 a.m., the parking lot entrance will return to MacBeath Avenue. The temporary entrance to the parking lot had been located off Arden Street.

Further, as electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are being installed on-site, we will be partially and fully closing lanes to the Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC) from MacBeath. In addition, the path and the sidewalk will be temporarily closed between the Emergency Department entrance and the ACC entrance at this stage of the construction.

Horizon is committed to creating a welcoming and safe environment for anyone visiting its facilities. We appreciate the patience of the public as we carry out this important work and apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause.
