Screening for Cervical Cancer

A Pap test is a simple screening test that helps detect changes in the cervix that could lead to cervical cancer. Pap tests are done by a physician, nurse practitioner or trained nurse.

If you do not have a primary health-care provider, you can still get a Pap test. Many communities in New Brunswick have clinics where trained health-care professionals provide this service.

The list below includes the Horizon Health Network sites that offer Pap tests to people without a primary care provider.
