Child and Youth Addictions and Mental Health Services Child and Youth Addiction and Mental health teams throughout Horizon offer services to children and youth who need help with emotional, mental health or addictions needs. These multidisciplinary teams are made up of caring professionals with training in social work, occupational therapy, psychology, nursing, mental health, and addictions. Child and Youth Addiction and Mental Health teams are available to see children and youth in schools, addiction and mental health sites, and other community settings, provided in places that work for children, youth, and families. Requests for these services can be made by youth, families, schools, primary care providers, hospitals, and service providers from the community.
