Alcohol Treatment Program The Alcohol Treatment Program is a comprehensive treatment and prevention strategy to address harmful alcohol use. The program is considered an effective means of reducing consumption, symptoms of withdrawal, cravings, and the rate of mortality. Staff seek to improve physical and mental health, social functioning, and a person’s overall quality of life. This multidisciplinary team includes: prescribing physicians, registered nurses, social workers, and administrative support. Individual counselling is available throughout the concurrent recovery process for therapy and, as needed, access to community resources.
