Renovations beginning in the Emergency Department at Horizon’s The Moncton Hospital

HORIZON – Renovations begin Monday, Sept. 26 to enhance the waiting room in the Emergency Department at Horizon’s The Moncton Hospital.

Renovations will provide a more comfortable and welcoming space to patients.

The main entrance to the Emergency Department will be closed to accommodate the renovations. Patients will need to access the side door entrance (Clinic B), about 20 feet from the regular entrance. Signage is in place to help patients and families access the temporary entrance.

A temporary waiting room is in place for patients while renovations occur.

There are no changes to services or capacity in the Emergency Department and the ED parking lot can continue to be used. Renovations are expected to last three to four weeks.
