Labour and Birth Services resuming at Horizon’s Upper River Valley Hospital

(WATERVILLE) – Labour and birth services at Horizon’s Upper River Valley Hospital (URVH) have resumed, effective Monday, Nov. 14 at 8 a.m.

All pregnant individuals who would normally deliver their babies at URVH should proceed to this facility.

Labour and birth services were temporarily diverted and set to resume Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 8 a.m.; however, surgeon coverage to perform emergency caesarian sections (C-section) has been secured sooner than expected.

All expectant individuals that are 35 weeks pregnant and over have been contacted by nursing staff.
