Horizon’s online self-booking tool for ECG, ABP monitor, and Holter monitor appointments for the Miramichi area starts today

Innovative tool helps support patient-centred, data-informed approach to care delivery

(MIRAMICHI) – Horizon wishes to inform the public that Miramichi-area patients can now visit horizonnb.ca/book to book their ECG (electrocardiogram), 24-hour ABP (ambulatory blood pressure) monitor, and 24-hour Holter monitor appointments online.

To book and appointment, patients will need to confirm they have a proper requisition, or that it has been faxed to the hospital’s Cardiology department before proceeding. Health care providers may also use this tool to book their patients’ appointments on their behalf.

Appointments will be available Monday through Friday to coincide with the hours of operation of the facility selected when booking online. Patients can call 506-623-3174 to book an appointment if they do not have access to an online device.

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, patients can click the link in their confirmation email or contact the Cardiology department at the hospital where they have booked their appointment.
