Access to Services at the Quick Care Clinic Returns to Central Miramichi Community Health Centre

(DOAKTOWN) – Horizon is pleased to announce the reopening of the Central Miramichi Community Health Centre’s Quick Care Clinic, effective Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

The clinic will operate from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Thursday. Anyone from the Doaktown and surrounding rural area without a health care provider, or anyone who has a provider at the health centre and cannot get a timely appointment, can call the Quick Care Clinic at 506-365-6144 starting at 10 a.m., on those days to be assessed for an appointment.

The Quick Care Clinic’s services are available for non-urgent situations or for minor illnesses or injuries, such as pink eye, ear or mouth pain, sore throat, etc.

We commend our staff for their dedication in reinstating services at the Quick Care Clinic to ensure that patients have access to the primary care they need. We also appreciate the patience of Doaktown area residents during this temporary change in service.
