Interventional Cardiology/Angioplasty The Cardiac Catheterization Program provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for patients with coronary and structural heart disease. Our goal is to deliver minimally invasive, evidence-based procedures that reduce recovery time, improve outcomes, and enhance patient experience. Over 4000 patients receive interventional cardiology procedures every year. The program supports a wide range of procedures, including: Cardiac Catheterization Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) and Stenting Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) Interventions Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) Pressure Flow Measurements Endomyocardial Biopsies Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Shockwave Lithotripsy Rotational Atherectomy (Rotablator) Implantation of Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) Mitral Valvuloplasty MitraClip Procedures Percutaneous Closure of Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) and Atrial Septal Defects (ASD) Complex High-Risk Coronary Intervention (CHIP) Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) Back to Cardiac care Overview
