Neguac Health Centre

The Neguac Health Centre is a family practice that services the Neguac and outlying communities. The centre is staffed with a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, social worker, two physicians, and administrative support staff.

The centre focuses on health care, health promotion and disease prevention initiatives and offers a range of health services including management of acute and chronic illnesses, smoking cessation counseling, routine injections and immunizations, blood pressure monitoring and wound care.

The centre provides:

• Clinical services such as sutures and dressing changes
• Collaboration with Neguac Public Health for injections, adult vaccinations
• Addictions and Mental Health services
• Regional Diabetes Program
• Registered dietitian
• Smoking cessation (Ottawa model)
• Speech therapy
• Lab service:
  • On-site blood collection and specimen drop off: Mondays and Thursdays from 8 to 10 a.m.

Hours of Operation

Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (the phone line is open until 3 p.m.)

Closed on weekends and holidays.

All visits are by appointment only.

Heading east on Main Street (Route 11), turn right onto Otho Street. The health centre is on your right.
