A Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) is a recognized approach to understanding health and wellness at a local, community level. Through community engagement, a CHNA can define an area’s strengths and needs leading to the identification of local priorities that, when acted upon, can improve the health and wellness experienced by individuals and population groups.
