As mixed-methods research methodologist, Riley provides methodological support to clinicians, staff, and students in the development and implementation of research through Horizon.

Riley holds a PhD in employment relations from the University of Strathclyde. She also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methodology for Business and Management at the same institution Her doctoral research focused on the dynamic and relational aspects of collaborative innovation in health and social care. Prior to joining Horizon, she was a senior policy analyst conducting strategic planning and corporate reporting at the National Capital Commission (NCC), the Research and Evaluation Officer for the NCC, and a Research Associate with Mount Allison University exploring the undervaluation of care work in the province and its impact on working conditions.
