Madeline joined the Maritime SPOR SUPPORT Unit as a research assistant where she supports the promotion, data collection, and implementation of patient-oriented research studies. Madeline completed a Master’s of Applied Health Science with a focus on Healthy Aging from the University of Western Ontario, motivated by her prior work as a Research Coordinator for several clinical trials examining mild cognitive impairment and dementia. She has also served as a research assistant for Horizon Health Network’s Frailty-focused Enhancements to Seniors Hospital Care (FrESH Care) project and a University of New Brunswick’s CELLab study, which investigated the effects of exercise intensity on older adults with type 2 diabetes.
