Dr. Sarah Carter Clinical Department HeadEmergency MedicineMiramichi AreaMD CCFP (EM) Dr. Sarah Carter completed her medical undergraduate training at McMaster University. She then moved to the Maritimes, where she completed her Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine residency training in Saint John. Part of her training brought her to Miramichi, where she enjoyed the collegial staff and working environment. After residency, she began her full-time Emergency Medicine practice at Horizon’s Miramichi Regional Hospital and has worked there ever since. Dr. Carter is also actively involved in medical education for students, residents and family physicians including in-person, online and simulation training.
