Dr. Maged Salem

Dr. Salem is a valuable team member of both the Department of Oncology/ Hematology at The Moncton Hospital and at the George Dumont Hospital.  He obtained his MD/PHD degree from Cairo University and from there pursued further training at the renown Centre Hospitalier Lyon Sud, Centre LEON BERARD in Lyon France, and PMH in Toronto. He has over 40 years of clinical experience as an Oncologist and has served in the capacity of Professor/ Assistant Professor/ Clinical Assistant Professor at the Cairo University and continues to do so with the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University and Memorial University. Dr. Salem has published twenty plus journal articles in medical affiliated journals. His areas of research interest include breast, gastro-intestinal, lung and gynecology and he has been a valuable principal investigator in many industry led trials with the Oncology Clinical Trials Group at The Moncton Hospital. When he is not a devoted physician Dr. Salem enjoys spending time with his family and loved ones.
