Emergency Department at Horizon’s Sackville Memorial Hospital will be temporarily closed tomorrow – Thursday, June 23, 2022

SACKVILLE – Due to a physician shortage the Emergency Department at Horizon’s Sackville Memorial Hospital will be temporarily closed tomorrow Thursday, June 23, 2022.

The Emergency Department will reopen Friday, June 24, 2022 at 8 a.m.

The Emergency Department will not be seeing patients and clients during the temporary closure and ambulances will be diverted to other hospitals.

All patients and clients requiring urgent medical care will need to seek treatment at another hospital.

As always, people experiencing a medical emergency should call 911. Additionally, people with non-urgent medical needs can call Tele-Care 811 if they have any questions about the type of medical attention they require, or book a virtual appointment through eVisitNB.
