Moncton West Family Health Team

The Moncton West Family Health Team brings together physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, patient care attendants, a physician assistant, a respiratory therapist and a physiotherapist to provide comprehensive, team-based care under one roof.

The team is expected to connect 3,500 new patients to primary care over the next three years. The clinic’s integrated access model will allow residents to receive care while they wait for permanent attachment to a primary care provider, while also expanding access to primary care for residents in surrounding neighbourhoods.

The 11,000-square-foot clinic features 20 examination rooms and a dedicated treatment room, with plans to offer minor medical procedures on site. The team also supports physician mentorship, medical education and workforce development, including through New Brunswick’s Practice Ready Assessment program.
