Catherine Kennedy Music Therapist Catherine is a board-certified Music Therapist with six years of experience primarily in community mental health and geriatrics. In her music therapy work, she strives to build meaningful connections through music, using it as a bridge to support emotional well-being. Catherine takes a person-centered, collaborative approach, tuning in to the unique needs of the environment and the individual. One of the aspects Catherine loves most about this work is seeing how music can spark joy, bring comfort, and create shared moments of understanding within the community. Catherine joined the Cancer Support Program in spring 2025 co-leading Music Therapy and is the leader of the Listening Room workshop which focuses on lyric analysis, music sharing, listening and relaxing.
