Alisha D’Souza Registered Art Therapist Alisha is a Registered Art Therapist having received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Fine Arts from St. Thomas University. She has recently graduated from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute and hit the ground running, advocating for art therapy in New Brunswick. Her art therapy is rooted in mind- body connectedness, holistic approaches, and trauma assumed practice. She has over 15 years in a variety of social service settings working with at risk youth, adults and youth with neurodiversity, grief, and underserved populations. She looks forward to serving the community and providing art therapy as a gentle approach to mental health in her private practice and community partnerships. Alisha joined the team in April 2025. Currently, she is the leader of the Cancer Support Program’s Art Therapy and Art Workshops in Saint John, where she incorporates various artistic practices to promote healing and community.
