Dr. Marissa Sherwood OncologySaint John Area Dr. Marissa Sherwood received her medical degree from Dalhousie University at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick in 2019. She went on to complete her residency in Radiation Oncology in 2024 at the University of Toronto, where she also completed an Area of Focused Competency (AFC) in gynecological brachytherapy. Dr. Sherwood’s clinical interests include gynecological, breast and gastrointestinal cancers. Her research interests include oncology education and brachytherapy. When not at work, Marissa enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, as well as playing softball and curling.
