Temporary Service Changes to Blood and Specimen Collection at Horizon’s Queens North Community Health Centre in Minto

Temporary service changes to blood and specimen collection are now in place in the Minto area.

Due to staffing challenges, blood and specimen collection at Horizon’s Queens North Community Health Centre (QNCHC) in Minto will be temporarily offered Tuesday and Wednesday, by appointment only. We anticipate the volume of registrations will be accommodated in this schedule.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel or reschedule so someone else can be scheduled.

QNCHC patients and clients requiring blood work outside of these days are asked to visit another facility, such as Horizon’s Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital (DECRH), in Fredericton, for blood and specimen collection.

Outpatient blood and specimen collection services at the DECRH are available Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., by appointment only.

A full list of Horizon’s blood and specimen collection services can be found on our website.

Horizon is committed to ensuring safe and quality care for our patients and clients, and we apologize for any inconvenience these temporary changes may cause.
