Temporary COVID-19 Testing Clinic for asymptomatic patients only being established in Miramichi March 3, 2021 Because of the overwhelming response to our temporary asymptomatic testing clinic, we are pleased to inform you the clinic will be operational again on Saturday, March 6 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. No appointment is necessary! (MIRAMICHI) – In response to a recent cluster of COVID-19 positive cases in Zone 7, the Miramichi area, Horizon is establishing a temporaryCOVID-19 Testing Clinic for asymptomatic patients only. This is part of Public Health efforts to ensure as many individuals in the area can receive asymptomatic testing, as a precaution, if they wish. The temporary clinic has been set up in the Dr. Losier Middle School gymnasium, located at 124 Henderson St. in Miramichi. No appointments are necessary, and tests will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. The clinic will operate from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 4 and Friday, March 5. Asymptomatic individuals are not required to self-isolate while awaiting the results of their tests, unless advised otherwise by clinic staff or Public Health personnel. Those with even one symptom of COVID-19, no matter how mild, SHOULD NOT present to this clinic.
