PSA: Change to main entrance at Horizon’s Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital

(FREDERICTON) – Please be advised, the entrance to Horizon’s Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital (DECRH) has been relocated. The entrance is now between the former main entrance and the emergency department.

This change was made to reduce the number of people waiting outside during the colder months as we continue to implement safety precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Please remember that during the Orange phase, strict visitor restrictions are in place – there are no visitors allowed. Visit HorizonNB.ca for more information on visitor restrictions.

If you have a scheduled appointment at the DECRH, please attend as you normally would. Please remember:

• All services are by appointment only,
• Arrive within 15 minutes of your appointment,
• Upon arrival for your appointment, you will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms, and asked to wear a mask and clean your hands. We encourage you to wear your own mask; if you don’t have one, one will be provided.
