Horizon’s Perth-Andover Temporary Assessment Centre Services Suspended

(FREDERICTON) – As a result of decreased demand for COVID tests requested in the Perth-Andover area, Horizon’s Perth-Andover Temporary COVID-19 Assessment Centre will suspend services, effective Monday, Mar. 8, 2021.

People in the Perth-Andover area who request a COVID-19 test will be referred to Hartland, unless another available location is requested. Testing is also available at Horizon’s Tobique Valley Community Health Centre in Plaster Rock.

Should testing demands increase, the temporary COVID-19 Assessment Centre in Perth-Andover may re-open.

Information about Horizon’s COVID-19 Assessment Centres (by appointment) can be found here on Horizon’s website.

We continue to urge anyone in New Brunswick with COVID-19 symptoms (even one mild cold-like symptom) to get tested, by visiting www.gnb.ca/coronavirus (click “Get Tested”) or by calling Tele-Care 811.
