Electrocardiogram (ECG) Services in Moncton area to be provided at Horizon’s Jones Lake Clinic

(MONCTON) – Beginning Tuesday, June 22patients who have electrocardiogram (ECG) and/or ambulatory monitoring (Holter device monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and King of Hearts / event recorder monitoring) appointments at Horizon’s The Moncton Hospital will be seen at Horizon’s Jones Lake Clinic (1600 Main St., Suite 102, Moncton).

Jones Lake Clinic was closed in spring 2020 to allow for renovations to increase volume of services and help maintain physical distancing requirements. Blood collection services resumed at this location (from a temporary location at the Moncton Coliseum) in mid-May 2021.

The newly-renovated Jones Lake Clinic will allow staff increased access to cardiac diagnostics for patients while following Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols; they will have the ability to see an ECG patient every 20 minutes, and an ambulatory care monitor patient every 30 minutes.

This location will only be open to patients with appointments.

Patients should arrive no more than 15 minutes early for their scheduled appointments to allow for proper physical distancing in the waiting area. If you arrive earlier, you may be asked to wait in their vehicle. If you arrive without an appointment, you will be asked to return home and call 857-5271.

Upon arrival for your appointment, patients will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms, and asked to wear a mask and clean your hands. Please wear your own face mask. You will be provided a new face mask during the screening process and asked to put on this face mask before entering.
