CEO Statement: Changes to medical leadership at Horizon’s Miramichi Regional Hospital September 22, 2020 Horizon has reviewed four medical leadership positions at Horizon’s Miramichi Regional Hospital, and all members will not continue in their positions. There will be no changes to services and programs at the hospital. Horizon has appointed interim medical leadership to support physicians and ensure patients and clients in this area continue to receive quality and safe care. The physicians involved are valued medical professionals and leaders in their community. They will continue to provide patient care at Horizon facilities where they have privileges, however they will not continue in their current medical leadership roles.
