Blood Collection Clinic at Moncton Coliseum returning to Jones Lake

(MONCTON) – Beginning Monday, May 17, 2021 all patients who have blood collection appointments at the Moncton Coliseum will be seen at Horizon’s Jones Lake Clinic (1600 Main St., Suite 102).

The Jones Lake Clinic was closed in spring 2020 to allow for renovations to increase volume of services and help maintain physical distancing requirements. The newly-renovated Jones Lake Clinic will allow staff to be able to serve more patients while following Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols; they will have the ability to see six patients every 15 minutes.

This location willonly be open to patients with appointments. To book an appointment for bloodwork at Jones Lake Clinic, Horizon’s The Moncton Hospital, or Horizon’s Sackville Memorial Hospital call 857-5271 from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Patients should arrive no more than 15 minutes early for their scheduled appointments to allow for proper physical distancing in the waiting area. If you arrive earlier, they may be asked to wait in their vehicle. If you arrive without an appointment, you will be asked to return home and call 857-5271.

Upon arrival for your appointment, you will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms, and asked to wear a mask and clean your hands. Please wear you own face mask. You will be provided a new face mask during the screening process and asked to put on this face mask before entering.

The temporary bloodwork clinic at the Moncton Coliseum will close as of Saturday, May 15; Horizon’s COVID-19 Assessment Centre and Vitalité’s COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will remain at the Coliseum.
