Rachel Boehm

Reporting to the Vice President of Community, Rachel joined Horizon from the Nova Scotia Health Authority’s Addictions and Mental Health team, where she worked since 2009. She held progressively more senior mental health and addictions leadership roles over the past decade, including program leader of addictions services and later program lead for mental health specialty services before becoming a director in 2017.

As a director, Rachel worked closely with the Dalhousie Department of Psychiatry and psychiatry leaders to develop and lead high-quality, effective, and accessible mental health and addictions services to citizens. Rachel is an active member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders and a Certified Health Executive. Working from Horizon’s The Moncton Hospital, Rachel began her new role on July 19.
