Dr. Paul Maloney Clinical Department HeadDepartment of PediatricsSaint John AreaSpecialty: General Pediatrics Dr. Paul Maloney was born in Saint John and is a native of Quispamsis. He obtained his medical degree from Dalhousie University and completed his pediatrics residency training at Memorial University. Dr. Maloney spent the first seven years of his career working as a general pediatrician in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. He returned home to Saint John in 2018, where he continues to run a very busy general pediatrics practice. Dr. Maloney has a keen interest in medical education, and holds many different educational and mentoring positions. He has served as Clinical/Academic Department Head of Pediatrics for the Saint John area since 2020. Dr. Maloney is also a lifelong musician. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, playing guitar, and telling dad jokes – not necessarily all at the same time.
