Amy McCavour Executive Regional Director, Co-Leader of Surgical Services, Intensive Care, NB Organ and Tissue Program Reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Services, Amy joined Horizon in 2015 working in progressive leadership roles as a registered nurse and nurse associate in the surgical and cardiac critical units. In 2020 Amy held the position of Nurse Manager of the MICU and SICU before becoming the Administrative Director of Surgical Services and Critical Care in 2021. Prior to joining Horizon Amy worked at JD Irving in account management where she gained valuable experience in human resources and process improvement. Amy holds Bachelor of Business (major in Human Resources) and Bachelor of Nursing degrees from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton and is currently enrolled in the Master of Health Management program at McMaster University. She also successfully completed Horizon’s LEADS and Leading One Horizon programs. Working from Horizon’s Saint John Regional Hospital, Amy lives in Rothesay with her husband and their three children. Amy began her new role on Aug. 15.
